Ping Property

Location

Compilation

The Ping Property lies approximately 50 kilometres northwest of Prince George. The property originally consisted of 44 mineral claims with a total area of 19,994 hectares. In 2008 the property was reduced to the Ping North (4 claims totaling 1,900 hectares) and Ping South (14 claims totaling 6,600 hectares).

In 2007 an airborne magnetics survey was flown over the entire property outlining 3 areas of interest. In 2008 six lines of Induced Polarization (IP) chargeability and resistivity surveys tested all three magnetic zones. Of the 3 magnetic targets only the southeastern linear magnetic trend (Ping South) exhibited high chargeability anomalies when tested by IP. All three lines testing the southeast magnetic anomaly delineated chargeability anomalies ranging from 350 to 750 m wide at 50 to 100 metre depths.

A limited program of follow-up prospecting and MMI sample collection was completed across the 3 southeastern chargeability anomalies. There appears to be a strong copper-gold-molybdenum correlation in the MMI sampling suggesting a possible porphyry signature.
