PG Property

The PG Property straddles Highway 97 on the east bank of the Fraser River approximately 16 kilometres south of Prince George. The property consists of 7 mineral claims with a total area of 3,214 hectares.

In 1958 zinc-copper-silver mineralization was reportedly found in several water wells with several samples, reportedly taken at a depth of 12 m, composed of massive sphalerite with minor galena and chalcopyrite. Historic EM delineated several conductive zones that may represent sulphide bodies.

In 2007, an airborne magnetic survey was completed over the property. A 3 kilometer wide circular magnetic high was delineated by the survey.

The 2008 IP survey tested for potential gold-copper mineralization associated with an intrusive body as interpreted from the 2007 airborne magnetics survey. Alkalic porphyry-style mineralization typically occurs in the margins of magnetic highs. A strong chargeability - high resistivity anomaly coincided with the centre of the magnetic high. A second IP line, testing a weaker portion of the magnetic high, delineated three weak chargeability - low resistivity responses.
